Jose Yallouz

Shalom! I am a Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D) from 2016 with a dissertation titled "Schemes for Network Survivability in a QoS-Supporting Architecture". I received my degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, under supervision of Prof. Ariel Orda.

I have performed research in Computer Networks, specifically, in schemes for coping network failures. My area of interest is broad and, in general, includes every topic which requires a deeply thought and a beautiful mind, among them the following specific topics from Computer Science (CS):

  • Survivability, Reliability and Fault-Tolerance
  • Routing Algorithms
  • Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
  • Network Topologies
  • Computer Architecture
  • Compilers
